Influence Factors and Elimination on Iron Content Using ICP-AES Method in Oilfield Produced Water

ICP-AES method can be used to determine multiple metallic elements simultaneously, and has the advantages of high sensitivity, good repeatability accuracy. In paper, detection limit iron content was determined by stepwise dilution method. The influence cationic concentration on determination element studied, matrix matching proposed eliminate influence. results show that, Iron is 0.01 mg·L-1. Because other several times or even tens as much ions, it a great element. effects effectively eliminated establishing standard curve using matching. After digestion pretreatment oil gas field produce water, adding recovery rate between 95% 105%, RSD less than 4%. Compare this with o-phenanthroline spectrophotometry, its relative error within 5%. Therefore, fully meet requirements in greatly improves efficiency accuracy laboratory analysis wastewater.
